Victoria Thompson, MA

Victoria Thompson is an educator, academic advisor, and success coach. She has worked with people of all ages. She brings an awareness and sensitivity to her clients’ diverse experiences rooted in her personal experiences of studying and living in various countries.

Victoria’s career as an educator started in large urban school districts–San Francisco Unified and the New York City Department of Education. At InsideTrack, she worked with college students as a success coach. Victoria assessed and addressed potential risk factors and opportunities to help individuals develop the knowledge, skills, and beliefs they needed to advance. That led to a position at Baruch College, one of the senior colleges in the City University of New York system, the largest urban university system in the United States. Victoria coached and advised undergraduate and graduate business school students to enhance their academic learning and maximize their career opportunities. When she saw the need for specialized support for international students, Victoria created the International Student Orientation and International Student Success Program.

Victoria received her M.A. in English Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, and her B.A. in Comparative Literature from UC Berkeley. During her undergraduate studies, Victoria studied abroad in Seoul, Korea, at Yonsei University and in Leeds, UK, at Leeds University.

Recently, Victoria moved back to California, and she’s excited to bring her knowledge and insights to her coaching clients.
