Lauren Shapovalova, BA

Lauren is currently enrolled in the Master of Mental Health Counseling program at Brooklyn College, NY. A native New Yorker, she graduated magna cum laude from Hunter College, holding an undergraduate degree in Cognitive Psychology and Political Science. Lauren has a diverse professional background, having served as an ABA behavior technician, a mental health trainee at the Brooklyn College Counseling Center, an undergraduate peer adviser, and a teaching assistant. She is looking forward to training in psychotherapy with Dr. Chi this Spring. She enjoys exploring new restaurants, traveling, experimenting with new recipes, and meditating in her spare time.
